Since my childhood, I’ve had an innate passion for fashion, greatly influenced by my grandfather’s career as a straw hat maker in the Florence area. This early connection to the world of fashion sparked a deep interest in the industry for me, and as I grew older, my fascination only intensified. As a teenager, I began collecting Ralph Lauren shirts and polos, garments that I still cherish to this day. Living in Florence, a city steeped in history and elegance, only further fueled my passion for men’s fashion. Experiencing the magical atmosphere of iconic events like Pitti Uomo was a transformative experience that brought me closer to the world of tailoring and classic elegance in a unique way.
Additionally, I had the privilege of immersing myself in the art of Italian tailoring through the bespoke suits I received from my grandfather. This experience allowed me to appreciate the meticulousness in details and the quality of fabrics, laying the foundation for my understanding and appreciation of craftsmanship in men’s fashion.
The inspiration behind my decision to create fashion-focused content stems from a deep connection with this creative and dynamic world. Since an early age, fashion has been an integral part of my life, a realm through which I can express my personality and unique style. Immersing myself in the fashion industry, I discovered that it’s not just about garments and trends, but a form of art that allows people to showcase who they are and what values they stand for. There have been many challenges along the way. When I started seven years ago, I had to overcome the skepticism of my work environment and also of my parents, who didn’t understand what I was doing. Gradually, this work is becoming better known, and people are beginning to understand. I believe the key to overcoming these challenges has been perseverance and dedication to my vision. By focusing on the quality of my content and the authenticity of my message, I have been able to earn the trust and respect of my audience over time.
The substantial difference between elegant fashion and other more contemporary styles like streetwear lies in the occasions they adapt to. Each situation requires an appropriate style, and there is no right or wrong style. Elegant fashion tends to focus on sophistication and attention to detail, while streetwear is characterized by its focus on self-expression and urban culture. However, the exciting part is that both styles can be merged to create unique and personal looks that reflect the individuality of each person.
To build a wardrobe that withstands the test of time, I consider quality to be the most important factor. If the fabrics are of good quality, adjustments can be made to widen or tighten depending on whether your size increases or decreases, but if the fabrics are not good, it is better to discard them and buy quality garments. Additionally, the origin of the garment and its sustainability are also aspects I take into account when choosing what to incorporate into my wardrobe.
My favorite fashion accessory is the tie, as it’s a versatile accessory that, depending on the color and pattern, guides my style. I love how a simple tie can completely transform an outfit, adding a touch of sophistication and personality.
I would advise them to pay attention to the combination of colors and proportions of the suit. There are standards that must be respected and cannot be modified if we want to be elegant. Additionally, do not underestimate the power of details: a well-chosen tie, quality shoes, and an elegant watch can make a difference in any outfit.
I love to travel. I believe there’s nothing more enriching than discovering new cultures in person. The experience of immersing myself in different cultural environments inspires me and allows me to expand my horizons uniquely.
