1.Could you tell us a bit about yourself and how you got into the world of men's fashion?
Initially, my interest in classic fashion was practically non-existent. Until I was 20, my inclination was toward streetwear, without a hint of elegance in my clothing. The transformation began when observing my older brother, always impeccable in a suit and tie due to his job. This image gradually began to fascinate me. However, the decisive change occurred when I entered the adult world, specifically when working in network marketing. I found myself at events where most were adults, and being so young, I felt I was at a disadvantage. Not only was it difficult to be taken seriously, but my style and my multiple piercings did not contribute positively, making me feel out of place. I decided I needed to change: to start dressing like a man and not like a boy. This not only made me look older, but it also improved the first impression, which is crucial in the business world, where a young man in a suit is more likely to be listened to than one with piercings and ripped jeans.
2.What inspired you to create content focused on fashion?
Initially, I used Instagram for fun, as a hobby to show off my daily outfits. I really enjoyed sharing my passion for clothing and connecting with other people who shared this interest. Soon, people began to compliment me, ask me for advice, and thank me for the outfit ideas I provided. Then, when some of my Reels went viral on both Instagram and TikTok, I realized I could have a greater impact. This spontaneous recognition and interaction with my community motivated me to continue sharing and to delve deeper into my fashion content.
3. How would you describe your personal style, and how is it reflected in your online content?
Primarily on my social channels, I showcase a classic, elegant style. I consider my style simple and clean. I often use a few basic colors and don’t take too many risks. Being Italian, I try to maintain the “Italian style” as much as possible, which I see as a style characterized by subtle sophistication, never overwhelming, focused on details, a preference for quality, and a rejection of vulgarity and ostentation. That’s why I always say, “simplicity is the key!”
4.What challenges have you faced in establishing yourself as an influencer in the world of men's fashion and how have you overcome them?
I must admit that I don’t remember particular challenges, but it is well known that social media significantly exposes and gives a voice to many. This means that everyone is watching and ready to judge. Although this may seem challenging, this same dynamic is also positive because it keeps you focused and pushes you to specialize even more in your niche. The main challenge I have faced is the difficulty of being always 100% authentic. Sometimes, to achieve certain goals on social media and accelerate the growth process, you have to do things that don’t fully represent you but are well-received by the audience. This adaptation allows you to reach a wider audience, even if it sometimes means compromising a bit of your essence.
5.What distinguishes elegant fashion from contemporary styles like streetwear?
For me, these two styles differentiate men from boys. I am a romantic at heart, and if we look to the past or to movies set in ancient times, we observe that men dressed in suits, coats, and hats; they were all gentlemen by definition. Although I have nothing against streetwear and consider it appropriate until the age of 25, I believe that after that age, men should start integrating shirts and suits into their wardrobe.
6.What factors do you consider most important when choosing clothing to incorporate into your wardrobe? (brand, quality, garment origin...)
For me, the brand is secondary. The most crucial aspect is the fit of the garment and the taste in combining the right colors and fabrics. You can create really beautiful outfits even on a limited budget. At this moment, given that my wardrobe has become quite extensive, I am focusing on including more bespoke or tailor-made pieces, seeking that perfection in fit and customization that only custom tailoring can offer.
7.What is your favorite fashion accessory and why do you consider it so special to you?
My favorite accessory is undoubtedly the gold Cartier lighter from the ’80s that belonged to my father. It is a beautiful keepsake and something timeless that always makes a deep impression, a small elegant detail that transcends fashions and eras. However, in general terms, I believe that the most important accessory for a man is the watch, as it complements and enhances any outfit.
8.What advice would you give to men looking to adopt a more elegant style in their daily attire?
My first piece of advice would be to seek guidance from those who have more experience in this field. Although many people claim that there are no rules in fashion, in classic attire, there certainly are. Therefore, it is essential to understand some basic principles before starting. Then, I would recommend taking a person as a reference in the sector and replicating their outfits and combinations. Often, simply copying and not inventing is enough. But most importantly, start in the simplest way possible, by only matching two colors in an outfit. By doing this, you minimize the chances of error.
9.Outside of the world of fashion, what are your favorite hobbies or pastimes?
I love food; I enjoy cooking and trying different types of cuisine. If I’m looking to relax, going out to a good restaurant is always my option. Additionally, for a few years now, tennis has become my passion. Whenever I can, I play with friends, enjoying the competition and the physical activity that this sport offers.
10.What exciting projects or goals do you have for the future in your career as a fashion influencer?
I have many ideas and projects in mind that I hope to materialize soon. However, I prefer to keep the mystery for now and not talk about them at this moment. Future developments will be revealed in due time, and I am excited about what is to come.
